Alien Technology Announces Milestone of 50 Million EPC Class 1 RFID Tags Shipped MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- Alien Technology(R) today announced that the company has now shipped 50 million EPC Class 1 RFID tags. The Alien(R) RFID tags, which are manufactured using Alien's patented Fluidic Self Assembly (FSA(R)) technology, are widely deployed in a large percentage of Wal-Mart and DoD-related RFID implementations. Alien continues to lead the market in delivering reliable, high volume, low cost EPC tags.
