Electronics Boutique Holdings Corp. to buy Funco Inc. for 0.51 times revenue, The

The Deal: The Electronics Boutique Holdings Corp. has agreed to purchase Funco Inc. for $17.50 a share in cash, a total of $105 million, in a deal that would create the world's largest specialty retailer of electronic games. Both companies sell new and previously played video games, software and hardware through their retail stores and Web sites. Shares of Funco increased 12.5 cents, to $19.25, after the news of the acquisition was announced.(Continue Reading)
